Hi, I’m Anna Perotti, a painter inspired by the rawness and ever-changing landscapes of the Peak District. I’m obsessed with low fog, inverted clouds over the moors, the drama of stormy skies, and the glow of light breaking through, creating pools of bright colours.

I paint in a semi-abstract style, using layers of acrylic paint, fluid inks, and sometimes charcoal and pastels. Each piece begins with expressive marks and bold strokes, building up texture and depth to evoke that feeling of being immersed in the landscape.

My studio is my dining table! It’s such a treat to see my paints and brushes every time I pop downstairs for a cup of tea. I love that I can look out onto the garden while I paint, and in the early morning, the light floods in, perfect for getting stuck into my work before I have to clear the table for family lunches and dinners.
